Hormone Loving Chocolate Pudding
Chocolatey, thick, silky and soothing...this chocolate pudding is a great way to help support hormonal health. It’s especially great in the lead up to, or during, your period – easy to make when you’re low on energy or feeling moody, deliciously chocolatey, and full of some of my favourite hormone loving foods. It’s also excellent any time of the month to help with so many aspects of hormone health – think PMS, period pain, irregular periods and more.
Here are just a few extra reasons why I love this pudding:
Chia, hemp and flax seeds - excellent source of omega 3 for hormone production, mood and inflammation
Flaxseeds - fabulous phytoestrogen to help regulate oestrogen levels
Cacao - rich in magnesium, B vitamins and calcium which are all key players in factors including PMS, hormone communication and period pain
Raspberries – loaded with antioxidants and nutrients to support overall hormonal health, like vitamin C which is key to ovarian health
Black strap molasses - high in iron, which is often low in those who menstruate
This pudding is also rich lots of foods and nutrients that support digestive and liver health, like fibre and protein, which are super important to the production, regulation and processing of hormones. So go on, get your pudding on and enjoy!
