Silky Smooth Smoothie with A Spoon
Ooh how I love a thick silky smooth smoothie. Smoothies are awesome – they’re easy, a lovely way to cool down and there are endless flavour combinations. What makes this smoothie sing is the addition of pumpkin…adding a new kind of sweetness and a silky smooth texture. With just a handful of ingredients and a blender, you’ll have a bunch of happy tastebuds and one happy tummy. Enjoy!
Serves 1
200ml milk of choice
1 small banana or ½ large banana
About ½ cup roasted pumpkin
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Scoop of quality protein powder – optional
1. Pop all of the ingredients into a blender and blend well. Leave it for a minute or two and blend again – this’ll help the chia seeds really thicken up!
2. Pour into your favourite glass, mug or bowl. I like to top mine with a little extra cinnamon or some berries. Enjoy!
