Updated: My Favourite Non-Diet & Body Image Resources
Hey lovely folk, I thought I’d provide an updated list of my favourite non-diet and body image resources (the original post can be found here, however some resources are now out-dated and there are new ones I’d love to suggest too!).
If you know me, you’ll likely know that I’m all for transforming your relationship with food and with yourself. When I’m helping my wonderful clients through this process, I love to recommend various resources...whether it be a podcast, Instagram account, book, documentary, blog post or something else. I find that they’re just so darn helpful for many reasons – grasping and understanding a concept we’ve talked about (like the binge restrict cycle or HAES), seeing a wider variety of people (including various body shapes, sizes and abilities), cultivating helpful habits (like self compassion), tapping into feeling more empowered and inspired, facilitating the learning process, feeling seen and heard by connecting through shared experiences, and more.
So, here’s a list of my favourite resources into one list! People prefer take in information in all sorts of ways, which is why I’ve divided them into different mediums – podcasts, Instagram pages, books, videos and docos, and other bits and bobs. See what you’re drawn to / work your way through the list / save it to your favourites and refer to it whenever you need. I’m confident that you’ll find it really helpful!
