Cinnamon Citrus Granola
This granola is super easy to make, just throw together the ingredients, bake and serve! It’s delicious on it’s own or as a topping on smoothies, chia puddings, yoghurt, porridge, fruit, and much more.
Makes 1 small jar
1 cup rolled oats or lupin flakes
½ cup chopped nuts or seeds – I used slivered almonds, pepitas and pistachios for this batch
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground vanilla bean or vanilla extract
1 teaspoon orange or lemon zest
1 tablespoon fresh orange or lemon juice
1. Preheat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius on a conventional setting
2. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl
3. Spread out the mixture on a lined baking tray and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes or until golden. It can burn quickly so check every couple of minutes!
4. Allow to cool, then serve and enjoy!
Feel free to experiment with the flavours, other additions that’d be great include ginger, nutmeg, shredded coconut, walnuts, almonds and more!
